Movement & Music Magick* Yoga Retreat with Rhonda Fowler

Join me for a weekend of letting go of inhibitions and allowing our goddess within to shine without.
- We will find JOY by awakening our senses through hip and heart opening yoga classes.
- We will find FEARLESSNESS by releasing our inhibitions and letting loose through shake and shimmy Bellydance movements.
- We will find PLAYFULNESS by raising our vibration with drumming, sound, and singing.
All activities are OPTIONAL, and there will be free time allotted throughout the weekend to walk the forest trails, curl up with a book in the centre’s library room, or enjoy a cup of tea and browse the gift shop in the cozy lounge of the main building.
* Why do I use ‘magick’ instead of ‘magic’? Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) formalized the use of the word magick to mean anything that moves a person close to fulfilling their ultimate destiny, which he called one’s True Will. The Yoga Sutras, ancient yogic philosophy, tell us that our destiny, our birthright, is to be Joyful, Playful, and Fearless.
This 3 day/2 night retreat at Sugar Ridge Retreat Centre includes:
- Accommodation in cozy cabins set amongst the trees, 2-3 minute walk to the Retreat centre and studio (spacious and multi-stall washrooms and showers located in main building)
- Dinner Friday, breakfast, lunch, dinner Saturday, breakfast, lunch Sunday (delicious meals homemade and 100% plant based), includes coffee, tea, juice, water, no alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own
- Minimum : 4 yoga classes, 2 Bellydance classes, evening drum and music circle, opening and closing circles for connection and collective energy
